All players need to register to the Lone Star Region online.

If you are a new player or first time to register, Click on "new member" and follow on-screen instructions.
If you have registered last year or previously registered, click on "previously registered online" put in
your user name and password and then follow instructions.

Print out all paperwork including Waiver Release Form and Registration Form to bring to your coach
ASAP on 11/11/2010 (first practice). If you have questions please contact your coach or director before
the deadline. Do not bring incomplete paperwork.

What is “Club volleyball”?
Hundreds of thousands of girls each year participate in Junior Olympic  
GIRLS CLUB (ages 12-18) Girl's Club Season is November-July (following High School
Season).Girls TRYOUTS are generally held in November.


Why Should My Daughter Play Club Volleyball & Why Should Jefferson County
Juniors Be Your Choice?
This high level of competition enables the than junior high and high school volleyball.  This
high level of competition enables the prepared for the school’s program.  Additionally, most
collegiate volleyball scholarship athlete to improve as a player, to develop better fundamental
skills, and to be prepared for the school’s program.  Additionally, most collegiate volleyball
scholarship that athletes have participated in the club volleyball and most college coaches focus
on recruits that have played competitive club volleyball. Finally, club volleyball offers excellent
coaching and instruction.  This instruction is a great supplement to the direction given to the
junior athletes and their athletes in the school athletic setting.  Jefferson County Juniors has a
lot to offer interested junior athletes and their parents.  The club is directed by Toni Leach, a
respected, mature and professional coach in the area.  Coach Leach has years of experience
coaching athletes, running youth volleyball  camps and assisting athletes in obtaining college
athletic main scholarships. She is well rounded, well-grounded, and uses common sense and
fairness as main guides in decision-making.  All coaches are selected by the director and each
head coach is experienced, knowledgeable and mature.  The coaches are able to teach sound
environments, fundamental skills and have backgrounds in structured coaching and /or playing
environments.

Who Operates the Club?
Jefferson County Juniors is operated by the executive director and a board of directors,
including a president, secretary, and treasurer.

What Does The Club Pay for?
Club fees pay for the tournament entry fees, uniforms, equipment, hotel cost for coaches,
registration fees, referee and scorekeeper clinics, coaches’ salaries, administrative costs, and
miscellaneous expenses. However, fees do not pay for any expenses related to teams that may
qualify for post-season and/or out-of-state championship tournaments.

What Kind Of Commitment Will We Need to Give to the Club?
Participation in a quality Junior Olympic Volleyball Program requires a significant amount of
time for both athletes and their parents. Practices are held twice weekly, beginning in early
November and ending in April or May. Typically, practices will be held twice a week for two
hour sessions and will depending once teams are selected.   Competitions are held on
weekends, with each team competing an average of twice per month.  Most tournaments are
one day events and do not require overnight hotel stays. Tournaments are usually held on
Saturdays, but may sometimes occur on Sunday. Start times for tournaments are around 8:00
am and may last late into the evening. Most qualifier tournaments will be 2-3 day tournaments
and only certain teams will go to those tournaments.

Next?

Additionally, provide her with your daughter’s name, birth date, address, and contact
information.  Coach Leach will respond and will place the information into an athlete database.


Next, Go to the website at www.jcjvball.com and fill out the paperwork used at tryouts. We
must have the player profile form and the medical release form filled out when you come to
tryouts. Next, bring your daughter to the tryouts in October. You will be able to speak to the
club director and coaches and have an opportunity for any unanswered questions to be
addressed.
